Squeeze looks good in my eyes with extra deadmoney from BU. I would guess he opens up a bit in MP3 and his pfr to be 16 or 18 or something from this position. So even without caller you might be able to 3bet (although it could be marginal)

What kind of Coldcall range do you give BU here?

That said, we can make calculations together but please show your calculation first so I can see if I can agree with it!

I put BU on either PPs 22-99, maybe TT, SC 78-KQ, AJ and KQ. But I didn't include him calling my squeeze in my equation.

I just made a rough equation, giving me a FE of 75% against MP3, and 35% against his calling range.

EV= 0.75*3 + 0.25(0.35*21.5 - 10) = +$1.64 (blinds excluded)

this is probably a stupid question but do you actually do all those calculations while playing the hand?

@raun: not really, there is no time for so much math. But when reviewing the hands it's important to look more closely at the values, odds etc so that you can develop a better notion of your EV. That will help a lot with the decisions "on the spot, as you'll have a better general idea of when a move is +Ev or not.

okay just making sure. i multitable a lot but i think im gonna start to play less tables to make room for more math.

squeeze is also quite a new thing for me.

in those situations i usually just look at the openraiser because he is usually the strongest and if i beat his range then i squeeze.

you should look at the tightest range. if OPFR has a tighter range than the coldcaller, look at the OPFR

if the coldcaller has a tight coldcalling range, then look at theirs
