So today was my first day in new limit- and it is quite difficult to play that limit. Here are some hands that I played today:

1) PartyPoker 0.10/0.20 Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T :diamond:, T :spade:
2 folds, MP1 calls, Hero raises, 5 folds, MP1 calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) J :club:, 7 :spade: , 7  (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 7 :club:, (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls.

River: (5.75 BB) 8 :club: (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 7.75 BB.

In 0,05/0,1 limit there would be a raise, if opponent has jack. But this level they will call the bets down, if they have JK, JQ, JT, J9- and maybe raise the river. So why should I bet river?- If the opponents has J, the villains would raise (or call me) if they have nothing, they probably fold.

2) PartyPoker 0.10/0.20 Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BU with A :diamond:, K :diamond:
5 folds, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 folds, BB calls, CO calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) Q :club:, 4 :diamond: , 2  (3 players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 9 :diamond: (3 players)
BB checks, CO bets, Hero folds, BB folds.

Final Pot: 5.75 BB.

Did I played this hand right? Should I bet the flop?

3) PartyPoker 0.10/0.20 Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A PartyPoker 0.10/0.20 Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A :club:, J :spade:
1 folds, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, 1 folds, SB calls, Hero raises, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, SB calls.

Flop: (10.00 SB) T , 3 :spade:, T :diamond: (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, MP3 bets, CO folds, SB folds, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 9 :diamond: (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, MP3 bets, Hero folds, UTG+2 calls.

River: (8.50 BB) 3  (2 players)
UTG+2 checks, MP3 bets, UTG+2 calls.

Final Pot: 10.50 BB.

Should I fold the turn? If the villain has ten, I´m beaten, if the villain has low pair i could improve. First I thought that villain was bluffing with A-high but there was 5 players in the flop, so that does not make sense.

4) PartyPoker 0.10/0.20 Limit Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2 :spade:, 2 :diamond:
7 folds, BU calls, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: (3.00 SB) K :club:, 2 , 8  (3 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, BU raises, Hero 3-bets, BU calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 9 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets, BU raises, Hero 3-bets, BU calls.

River: (10.50 BB) A :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets, BU calls.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB.

I was lucky and found trips- so I had to protect my hand against flush draw or two pair. I think that I played it well.

0,1/0,2 limit is quite hard to play. Of course I didn´t play beginners section, because there weren´t any available tables. But after 20 days I can´t play there anyway, so I have to adjust and improve my play.

1) Check behind on the river. A bet only has value if you get called by worse hands. If he has a J or the 7 he has a better hand, other hands he probably folds, so a bet does not gain anything. He might hold 98 for a gutshot which he called down, and called the river when the 8 hits. But most time he either folds or raises.
And it depends on your opponent, if he raises the flop with a J, not on the limit.

2)
Against 2 opponents alway make a contibet on the flop. The fold on the turn is terrible, because you have the nutflushdraw, so you can call with pot odds of 4:1 or better.

3) Against loose opponents you played it right. You wont get them to fold on the flop.

4) You have Trips if there were two 2s in the flop and you have a third 2 on your hand, in this case it is called a set of 2s. Anyway, played well.

Thanks for the comments.
