Preflop: Hero is UTG with J♣, A♠.
Hero raises, MP 3-bets, 3 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 7♣, 4♣, K♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 4.25 BB

should I call the flop and check/fold turn unimproved (improving includes picking up a flushdraw?!)?

BB: 31/10,4/1,4/32,82/394

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q♠, K♦.
1 fold, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 9♥, K♥, A♠ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 2♦ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.25 BB) 6♣ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.25 BB

WA/WB situation or should I raise the flop and bet/fold the turn?

Both hands played terrible because they were not played on partypoker.

just kidding.

1) I would have called the flop with one overcard, backdoor flush, backdoor straight + the possibility of having the better hand. But if you are unsure about how to play if you pick up a draw then a fold is also ok here.

2)I like the calldown. You cannot be sure to be ahead and you want to induce bluffs from a flushdraw. Well played.
