yes to both for sure
your getting good odds on your life tbh, at 999/1 its a deffinate +EV bet

I would do both of those for alot less than $1,000,000...........

Anyone willing to muscle up $50k?

Could do it like this:

Line up 1k parachutes, I pick one, jump out of a plane.

This way I get to parachute aswell, which I've always wanted! : D

At least there's no possibility for a helmuth blow-up, should he bust LOL!

lol, indeed :)

in any case, I guess yeah, drawing dead would get a little more finite meaning...

and regarding my presence, I'd need to perform more detailed EV analysis, before committing myself for such an endeavor :)

in any case, I think above point of view is not good for poker... _mad:

I would do it providing the death wasn't a painful one.

In IRC we came up with you have a axe behind your head and if you bust it drops

Insta, would fold to the money.

what's the bet someone would lose with AA vs suicidal donk?

of course, open shove every hand and have everyone covered.

I mean can you call a shove with aces even knowing you are against any two?

however it would be such a boring tourney everyone trying to fold to the money.

On the other hand, you would be in the bubble from the very beginning, right?=)

I don't know if this is a joke or not, But I wouldn't do it.
Understant +/-EV is a thing, but you have to look further.

Example: I have a lottery in my country called 649, where you choose 6 number from 1-49, if you have all 6 you win the jackpot. The odds of hitting are 1-to-13,983,816. For the purpose let say its 1-to-14,000,000.

A ticket cost 2$, so to have a +EV on this lottery the jack would need to be more than 28,000,000$. The thing is, you still have 13,999,999 chance to lose and if you buy a ticket each week for 100 yeas, you still have 1-to-2692 odd againts you. So the theorem of EV cant be applied to those big lottery.

I think the same would apply to the parachute jump IMO, screw the money, love the BB/100, enjoi.

Would you spend 1 million $ on some precausonary device to make the likelyhood or ur death occuring tomorrow 1/999 smaller? if not then u know that ur life is worth little enough for it to be +EV.
