I fold this too. Your odds to call are lousy even if you give yourself 12 clean outs, you may already be behind to a 2 card straight by someone who might conceivably have T,8s etc. and most importantly remember that you didn't limp A8s to go broke on this type of board.

i dont like that limp with A8s
the playabillity is to bad in multiwaypotts (except the 10% where u hit u're fd)

This is the kind of hand you want in a multiway pot, because when you do hit your flush you implied odds are good.

Still a fold on the flop though, nicely played

i dont like this
u dont hit u're flush that often and have the implieds that it would be profitabel

i would like it with 67s or that stuff
because u'll hit a lot more flops
ca:
10%SD
10%FD
5%2pair+trips
so 25% of the flops have a great playabillity

with A8s u'll miss the SD-value (u'll just hit the flop in 15%)
and u'll get in close decisions with the onepairstuff

Could you not ISOraise that hand preflop?

They was little calling station, so isolating is not idea, i think.

Ok, then I like your play. Call flop for implieds as they are calling stations. Maybe. lol. Unsure.

Preflop is useful for a discussion but I really fold postflop since when you complete your straight, Villain will be scared because of the straight possibilities.

with $55 stack, I think it is ok but I don't find overlimping optimal on midstakes

If he puts you on 8x, well then your implieds are not that great

i dont like preflop because the only good draw you can flop is the fdraw and you get into trouble spots when you hit your ace... you can never draw to your 1 card oesd against action so i like mucking it preflop. postflop standard flop fold to much implieds needed
