This situation has faced me a few times I'm in the BB and someone has raised but there are no callers before or after and it's my turn, here are a few sample hands of the situation:

1)
0,05/0,10 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grab'em by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3♠, T♥
2 folds, MP1 raises, 6 folds.

Final Pot: 1,70 BB

2)
0,05/0,10 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grab'em by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4♦, J♣
2 folds, UTG+2 raises, 7 folds.

Final Pot: 1,70 BB

3)
0,05/0,10 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grab'em by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q♥, 2♣
UTG+2 folds, MP1 raises, 6 folds.

Final Pot: 1,70 BB

Question: Should I call and go heads up here or is it not profitable and I have thus done right by folding according to SHC ?

Hi saiyo welcome here at PokerStrategy...

...
3 easy folds!

But i have to admit that the SHC is lacking some blind defence. But this is mainly to keep you out of trouble with marginal hands. In later strategy articles we will work on Blind Defence.

But even if you would try to defend your blind, these situations here are still easy folds.
3 crap hands no need to put money into the pot against an preflop aggressour out of middle (or even early) position

Not even in late possion ;)

These hands are a fold nearly all the time so nice folds

i felt i was giving them money but good to know i still was doing the right thing in the long run and also that blind defence will be cover later :)
