I don't see MP2 re-raising you with anything that you can beat. What hands could he have here, PPs mainly, maybe a KQ or QJs, I don't really think he calls lower SC. In which case you'd only be ahead if he was re-raising 77 or 88, but would he be so aggressive with such pairs?

I'd also take a stab at this pot, but fold to such resistance.

you're up against 2 nitts and that's pretty ugly spot. My line here would be bet 3$/fold flop.

As played, I find MP2's cc/reraise play very strange, specially with FD out there, so I would put him on FD himself, but that's not very likely as I don't see him calling preflop with Axs or SCs due to his tight-aggressive stats... So, I think you're beat on the flop and should fold to MP2's push.

Yes, I couldn't understand mp2's play either, which was why I called. On reflection that shouldn't have been enough of a reason but - hey ho.

I think what happened was this:

mp2 had a good - but not monster hand. He would normally have raised this hand but was nervous of doing so vs utg limper (didn't want to get check raised).

But, when he hit TPTK he wasn't going anywhere. He was still nervous of an overpair so only called utg1 minbet (also looks suspicious). However, once utg1 folded to my 3bet, mp2 knew he could go broke in safety. In summary: mp2's pf limp didn't represent the true strength of his hand.

I would say you are right, MP2 probably is more careful when a 8/6 guy limps UTG, so he wants to play for pot control with his TPGK.

However, I think we both agree that MP2 was shoving a made(not necessary a monster, but a made hand, not drawing hand) hand on the flop after UTG folded and after that I don't think you are ahead, so fold would be in place, but nonetheless you got the very valuable note.
