Hey guys,

There will be a new World Record attempt this Sunday at 14:10 stars time. (19:10 for WET, which i think means 20:10 for all you europeans :) )

The entry is just $1 and there is no rake/fee and pokerstars say there will be 5FPP and 0.10$ satelites to it, as well as freerolls giving away tickets.

The tourney id is 200900719.

This should surpass there previous world record attempt of 35,000 players as the maximum amount of players is a wopping 100,000. This also means a potential prize pool of $100,000.

This is obviously an attempt to try and keep there record, as full tilt are trying to hold a world record tourney at the same day/time!

Lol at these Guiness tournaments. Hopefully they keep having these, I don't think anyone minds huge added money tournaments.

well i went really card dead so i blinded down to like 100th place. shoved AJs from the btn with a minraise from utg. he called with TQ. river ten. i nearly did it again tonight but had to leave half way through in 12th position. so i got my bro to shove every hand until i busted lol

Last guiness record attempt (which was proper $10 regular tourney) I was 215th smthing out of 35k, this tournament doesn't seem to be so prestige, but I will take part of it anyway.

Funny how they throw this out in the last minute and effortlessly fly by 55k registrants in no time just to piss on Full Tilt's parade.

this is retarded stars feels so bad about full tilts atempt they put it out few days ago full titl is spaming it over a week. it is just like two 4 year old kids. who has a better toy car...LOL. can partypoker also break the record tomorrow...every room could do that in the same day. prizepool:players...........

stars 100k : 100k players

tilt 500k : 50k players

i think to LAG this tourey is the best way to run deep and take home at least some 100+ bucks .... easy money :f_p:

Just an update guys!

It seems they have capped the tourney at 65k entrants and instead doubled the prizepool. Which means the prizepool is $130,000. First place will get $13,000 :)

Nice! At least has sick overlay. Considering nearly everyone will try to lagtard their way to the top this is still a huge lottery though :)

Just because all of those people are entered doesnt mean that it will actually allow all of those people to be in the record, Guiness scans for same IP addresses and other details to make sure multi accounting isnt happening.....either way, it will still be nice to say im in the record books :)
