Hm imo this hand is well played. You raise the flop to induce a 3-bet and to avoid a check/call on the turn (maybe your opponent has QQ, KK).
The 3-bet is not good for you, so calldown (a cap would be overplayed).

What can he possible hold?
I breat everything exect a set. 44 is unlikly do you think he has JJ or AA?

I dont think 44 is that unlikely. He defends his BB against a Button Stealraise. I would have put him on Ax until he 3bets the turn. After that its really hard to give him a range. From his stats he looks like a showdownmonkey-TAG. AA and JJ are unlikely but possible, 44 is possible, and to 3bet Ax or a TwoPair here he must be pretty tilting. So what did he have?

AK ;)

but I guess you are right again. with no read I will never cap it only if you told me so

standard. i don´t see another way to play this Hand against this villain.

Why would a cap on the turn be overplayed?
We have top two pair and if we aren't ahead we have many outs to improve to a full house or a flush.

this villain is even more passive than we usually are (2.1 with 27), so he wouldn´t 3 bet the Turn with AK or worse hands.
JJ,AA, maybe AJ,44 are possible holdings.

But with the Flushdraw and the possibility that he overplays A7 or something, a cap on the turn with call Donkbet River woud be good also i guess.

He is not passiv.. actually he is way more aggressive than the most TAG on this limit.

He has 27 VPIP (7 more than me and 3 more than the optimum (I heart that)) and 47WTS which means he is going with many many hand to the showdown so his real AF is higher (I would guess 4.0 or so) :)

There were several discussion in the german forum about it

But thx for you rating like that idea too but now I don't know what to do in the future because both seems to be correct ;)

Maybe I just go with my PP (personal permanenz if you know what I mean (all that don't know it... the following is a joke))

I will call the next time because he needs to have a set (and after that I cap ^^)
