well, I kind of suspected he was chasing a straight draw, so I'm supposed to give him the wrong odds to continue his chase, is pot size bet enough each street?
and how about the river? do I give up? does his shove mean he got his straight?
I have no reads because it's the beginning of the tourney

I like it until the river. We still have a large enough stack to fold there, so I make the fold.

Hi SteIIstuI,

A c/r on the flop would be good if there had been a raise preflop, but this is a totally limped pot. There is no way to be sure that anyone will bet, so safer to bet ourselves. The hand is strong, but very vulnerable. The bet is for value, but also to protect on this very drawy board.
