preflop : with his preflop raise value, im reraising.
flop : i dont hit, but i decide to contibet, board is not particualry drawy (dont think he raises with 56 or gutshot now hand and flush is not very possible, because i even have blocker, which gives me backdoor flush)
turn : well, i have A high, im not going to invest any money in this hand, but should i bet here to see a free showdown ?
river : he bets, might even bet with nothing, sensing that i have nothing, i dont think i can call there.

is my play ok ?

general answer to your question is : yes your play is perfectly fine
I´d played the same way against that player, but if player hasn´t got so high wtsd I´d likely shove turn
Just he is never good there with medium pp-s, like 55/66/88/99/TT and he´d fold them quite often.
So I think against some players you can sometimes shove there AK
