Hi Toby,
Firstly, sorry for the delay in responding.
I'm pretty sure that you would have to achieve the $50 minimum otherwise PokerStrategy would be inundated with lots of requests for small transfers which would be a logistical nightmare and just slow the whole process down.
I have every faith that you can achieve that additional friend though
