If you don´t want to b/c or b/shove I like check back on the flop
First of all i would consider folding preflop and wait until you get QJs, this is pretty much one of the best boards you can hit with QJo and you still have a very hard time.
As played i actually like the bet/fold on the flop although it seems weak.
Your opponent raises very big which he should not do if he is bluffing and furthermore: since he raises that big he is commited with almost all of his hands since he just needs 25% equity to call your shove.
So because he's likely to raise/call i think he is happy to get it in even vs AJ - which means you're pretty much screwed.
However, i would like a check on the flop if you plan to check/shove because i expect the opponent to bet his entire range - so you can pick up his bluffs.

I don't agree, bet/folding is not turning the hand into a bluff - it is protecting our hand against overcards and maybe some gutshot draws which will give up their equity.
Maybe the opponent even calls with worse hands although i don't expect him to have much of these in his range.

Aj is likely only hand that opponent could hold there.
He should 4-bet TT+
and he might call with a lof of suited connectors.
anyway´if I´m going to bet I´m b/shoving
he has enough semibluff hands in his range that he could c/r with
protecting and then folding to c/r against A and K on quite dry baord is not imo the best idea

a) Having said that - which semibluffs do you see in his range?
There are KQs and 98s which give him strong draws - do you think he is raising T9s or 87s?
JTs has us beat and QJs might be more inclined to flatcall our bet.
At the same time people
1. do not always play optimal
2. started calling QQ+ in position for the sake of deception.
So he will show up with them occasionally.b) are we talking about the same hand? He is in position so he can't c/r?!

If he was raising smaller i'd be more inclined to bet/shove, but since his raise is that big it just looks very strong, i don't expect him to be bluffing that often.

yeah overpairs are part of his range
and since I stacked yesterday one player in 3-bet pot when I called 3-bet ip with KK and he lead out JT on J74r board, I min-raised and he showed, then
fold can be one option- but then I hate 3-betting QJoop if you going to take b/f line on that boards.----------
