Here is a way to get your FPPs to cash with a better deal than the 50$ for 5k FPPs
What you can is when you get 280 FPPS , you can play the hyper turbo 6max sat to sunday 1/4 million, and if you win ticket unreg for 11 T$
500 starting chips 3 min blinds, and they are really soft.

1-2nd is a ticket
3rd is 280fpp back

this is way better than the 50$ VIP bonus.

you have to cash 5 for every 18 you play, plus the one you get fpp back.
You also get the cash instant, instead of haveing to collect FPPs to clear it.

so if you dont mind getting T$ this is a good deal.

also i can buys some T$ if you chose to do this but dont want T$. i buy 11$ for 10$ or someting like that.

How much $ is 280FFP worth? Because i could just play a $3.25 6-max SNG and win $11 without wasting 280FFPs ;).

Since 1$ rake in SnGs is 5VPP, I think 280 FPP (assuming Bronzestar) is 56$
If you're Silverstar (+50% FPP) it's $42
If you're Goldstar (+100% FPP) it's $28

But if you're a GoldStar you wouldn't be playing $3 SnGs :)

Hi Guys,

Actually Pokerstars FPP have an actual value when looking at there satelite tourneys.

280FPP x 5 (because 3rd gets 280 back) = 1,400FPP. Now looking at the prize pool it is $22 worth.

So 22/1,400 = 0.0157... | so each FPP is worth approx 0.0158$ (1.58c)

Now look at a $50 SilverStar bonus. Thats 5000FPP. So all you would have to do is win 5 of these to make 55 T$ which is 1,400FPP. With good ICM knowledge you should be able to make this with at most 2,800FPP.

Of course when u make it up to the higher stars ranks you make more FPP and the bonuses become more attractive and better FPP/$ but then again so do these satelites. Anyway its food for thought :)

Regards,

-Jack

you have to unregister from the Sunday 1/4 million, then you will get 11T$ in you

To do so, go in stars lobby. then request -> registered in tournaments (or press Ctrl-R)
then you get a list, open the tourney, and press unregister.

thx a lot :)

Never settle for less that $0.016 per fpp. This is the rate offered when instant cash credits are available (VIP club reps have mentioned that these will return this year.) Just save them until then. Of course, Supernovas can get an even better rate with the concierge service. Also, if you have any edge in the satellites and can use the T$, your $/fpp range can easily be boosted above 1.6 cents per.

I've also noticed these to very soft, and since i play mainly double or nothing, these are very easy money.
I'll be spending my fpps on these rather than the cash bonuses.

QFT!
Seriosuly guys; if you think about poker as a long term thing, you shouldn't think about RB before you reach SuperNova on Stars... Before you ge there, work mainly on your game and move up only when you know you have a chance to beat that limit...

Save you points and once you reach SN, you can exchange your points for $0.016/ 1 FPP. The only better value is Porsche Cayman S but it depends on country you live in (this shit costs $100k here but 3mil FPP are worth "only" $48k).

I'm going for Porsche myself :]

meh, i prefer the 210 fpp 20-player ones...very very very soft and extremely high chance of cashing, 6 places paid..

I think the 500fpp sunday million 27 man sat is pretty good too. Even if you win 1/20 it's twice as better as the gold star bonus(you get $T215 for 10Kfpp, gold star is $285 for 25Kfpp). The drawback is that they are pretty much only running on sunday but they are fishy as hell.
