I usually often bet on this flop vs unknown! It is sucks if he is aggro cause he might raise you or float u on the turn without an A. But vs him c/fold it is too weak IMO. You can c/c on the flop and re-evaluate on the turn, especially if u have more stats on him. You can also 2nd barrel him since he doesn't fold to cbet.
If u cbet u are not committed!

B/f flop, check/call turn and fold to further action on river. Imo.

i bet he had KQs :)

so c/f is no option at all against such a player.
i would simply bet the flop and if he calls, i would bet/call the turn because then you are comitted.
your stack is rather small and here you have a very good hand so i could think about c/r all in if he is that agressive he wil bet lower pairs / air as well as he will call you with.
so i never give up this hand here against lag.
if you bet the flop you are comitted i guess (you bet 350 he calls, pot will be 700+560=1260 and you have the same amount left).
you have to come back in the tourney so here i would bet the flop and then comitt myself to the pot.
simply giving up is NO OPTION AT ALL.
