How should i have played this? i dont think this was optimal play, but not sure what to do

Try to go broke on flop. In omaha you don't want to give your opponent another free card with good hand and this is pretty good hand. You have lot of outs for fh.

ship the flop you are ahead of everything except T8xx and even against that you have decent equity.

I think calling the flop in this spot is the better play. This is because the player donks into us which is probably a draw, however many cards that improve him to a straight improve us to a full house. That means if we raise we make him fold his draw which can only hurt us with exactly a seven on the turn. On the other hand if we make a full house on the turn we may get his whole stack if the opponent is dumb enough which isnt too unlikely on this limit.
