checked preflop since villain was a big loose passive fish.
Is my hand strong enough to shove the flop? I'm pretty sure it is but just making sure since the shorty is so short

I don't mind getting it in against him if you have those reads (even though if he's passive, you have to think what a raise by him on the flop means...). I also don't mind just keeping the pot small since your bubble factor is so high vs him.
The check preflop is standard for me, vs pretty much every opponent. If he calls a raise you are always in a uncomfortable situation stack/pot wise.
I might be a bit result oriented here, but checking behind this flop might be preferable.
As played I think making a tough tough fold to his c/r is optimal. You are often ahead here, buth it's just too risky on the bubble with shorty around and healthy stack.
yeah i prefer the passive approach because the shorty only had 5bb left.
check behind and call down if he bets small and no scare cards come, give up to a 3rd club or straight card.
I changed my mind a little bit, I think vs loose-passive player bet/fold on flop is better then check behind.

the 25 ante for next blindlevel does not really matter here, but if the blinds were 200/400 I would be checking it down on every street, perhaps a small valuebet on river. The bubble factor would be huge.
If your opponent is not passive (= you don't have a read that he's loose-passive) I'm definatly more inclined to check behind the flop.

This and absolutely everything in this is accurate IMO.
Oops, did not read the passive bit. K yes against passive (with reads) then you can bet/fold still.
