live hand played in underground club. all of the people were some drug dealers spewying alot of money and there was one very good lag player who introduced himself to me at the beginning as a winning nl200+ player online.

the blinds were 0.5/1E with effective ~1000bb. the lag machine was playing really aggresive vs me as he knew i am online player with some knowledge of the game, while against the fishes he was tight. on several times he 4bet me light pf and showed me the cards and also once he bluffraised me on the river. the hand where he bluffraised me was with a busted draw. so here is the hand which happened

everyone fold, he raised to 4bb from CO, i saw the pretty A♦Ax and 3bet him to 14. he 4bet to 35, i 5bet to 120. he put alooooot of thought and called. the board came 4x 5♦6♦

he checked, i made a 3/4potbet and he shoved for omfg 800+bb. omggggggg what to do ?

fold
you´re not risking 800bb thinking he can shove there with pair+draw or draw or pure bluff and if you´re behind, you want to kill yourself
I wouldn´t c-bet that board

i edited my post with the colors of the hands. well i made 2/3 pot bet and after this it was like 700 to call to win 2000. the math looks really good but i am nl50 player and i have never played so deep so i really dont know what to do

also can you explain me why not to cbet. what to do on the turn if 2/3/7/8 drops... :(

this is really sick. I think all those times he showed you his bluff was to eventually get to stack you when he has the nuts. I think he might be calling your 5bet with those implied odds hand (PP or SC) and hit his straight or set.

I think I would pick the safe option of folding and try to go after the fish instead, no point busting ur ass against the crazy lag and losing your action

since you can´t call c/r
just let him bet turn and evaluate river

simple answer: don't play for money that you can't afford to lose.

I probably fold. but.....that's so dependent on how I feel this guy is ticking.

it is not that i cannot afford to lose this money, i am not relying on winning from poker but i have never played 300bb+ deep game. i have no real idea and how i should play deep ;(

I'm calling here too. Sure he has 4bet you light before, but he has called your 5bet. No hand has good enough implied odds to draw out on you here. If he has 44, 55, 66, 87, 73, 32 etc. he has to call $85 more. He is not getting good implied odds against you at this point. I'm calling here since he can easily have KK QQ etc. but it is real scary.

Don't play these stake against drug dealer xD

Even if you win you will lose when you go out the club and walk in a low light street you may lose more than just your money XP

MBML may be right.

Here i would fold.

Flush draw straight draw sets XD?

Lot of outs against you.

easy call imo.

1) his 3bet range is usually not 22-66 ..... ppl dont 3bet small pockets, even drug dealers know they can setmine with those hands.

2) he will play JJ-KK exactly that way. maybe even TT, cuz he is a fish and has an overpair and wants to put u on AK

u beat 18 hand combos of JJ-KK + sometimes 99 or TT. but imagine the drug dealer flops a set or a str8. would he rly c/shove? even he knows that he has a monster and most likely he will c/mr flop, pot turn, shove river. vs this line i fold somewhere in the hand probably.

however, as chenny said. call and see KK very often and win some moniiiez.

Wrong assumption. Just because somebody deals with drugs, doesn't mean he is capable to beat you up and take all your money. Some of them are really nice guys and they just wanne gamble and have fun. I heard from a friend that these are live games you wanne play, cause they are mostly very soft and you just have to be nice and friendly and play ABC style.

- Sounds like even if you win that poker game, you can lose afterwards, so I wouldnt play there
- Don't play limits you arent used to vs unknowns
- Dont play scared, its an obvious call online but you are not sure in live game because of your stack.
- I would never tell someone I'm a NL200 online player, I dont think I believe him that much. If I do believe him, he can still be bad.
- I put him on JJ-KK too
- He plays tight vs others and aggro vs you. Why? Because you fold too much and he knows it. He will shove draws here and OP because he figures only AA/KK will call. Well guess what, you have AA =)
