What piece of advice, pokertip or change of strategy has made the biggest impact on your game??
2 things for me that I can't choose from.
1) Having an Ace in your hole cards does not make it a good hand. AKA resist temptation to play A-rag.
2) AK is not god preflop. Be prepared to fold it.
Poker is not about making big hands.
Poker is not about giving coolers or trying to avoid coolers.
1) It's all about luck in the short term; it's all about skills in the long term.
2) BRM!
Drink at least 10 glasses of water everyday.
Take your vitamins everyday.
Eat your vegies and balance your meals, everyday.
Excercise everyday.
Amazing results from that formula in poker as well as other areas of life

This FTW. Although, for me, I'd restate 1) more along the lines of variance is an inevitable, unavoidable part of poker. Don't overvalue or understate its impact, just accept it.
You don't need to be the best at poker, just better than everyone sat at your table
1. Follow the goddamn SHC!
2. "Having a gamble for fun" is just your brain trying to legitimize tilt
- Top pair top kicker is not a hand to go all in.
- know when to stop your bluff
- Be patient better fold 100 hand and play 1 hand than playing 100 hand losing 1 BB each time.
play more when you're winning and less when you're losing. unless you're playing against me!
Keep your ego and emotions out of the game.
Remember, it is a game.
Use your brain , not your hammer.
Do NOT try to bluff a pilchard with a WSD% = 70!
