I am planning on playing the SSS on stars. Gonna start with about $230 on the NL25 and go on from there.
How is the bonus buying and instant bonuses there compared to rakeback? Is it worth it?

Instant Credit Bonus is the best deal for non-SN ($0.01600 per FPP)
the FIrst Dep. can be 30% Rakeback on 50NL

Actually, depending on where you live, some of the best bonuses are the gift cards. I buy the $1000 Australian gift certificates, and they are better value than the first Supernova Milestone bonus.
Also don't discount the tournament tickets, I believe they are better value as well.
I think to really benefit from Stars you need to at least be Supernova, if not Supernova Elite. But regardless, I think that the Stars bonus program is just as good as a rakeback deal.
