Here's how the hand played out, ASHMAN raises to 2,400, VAGA_LION makes it 9'800, Gus Calls, ASHMAN bumps it to 37K VAGA_LION calls all in for his remaing like 15K (at this point i think gus should be folding) But..He makes the Call..

Flop comes, 2 :spade: 4  9 :spade:

ASHMAN Shoves all in for ~78K or something (what ever he had left) Gus tanks then makes the call for a pot of over 200K with a pair of 9s?? Then he loose his stack in the next 25hands, weird!

Omaha Hi Simulation
820 trials (Exhaustive)
board: 2s4h9s
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
KcAhJdJc 59.39% 487 0
7s6h9d8d 40.61% 333 0

Pot odds :)

Even if you add the aces in (which was preflop but still), he still has OK equity

Omaha Hi Simulation
666 trials (Exhaustive)
board: 2s4h9s
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
KcAhJdJc 10.81% 72 0
7s6h9d8d 35.89% 239 0
2cad5cas 53.30% 355 0

Not saying its a *great* call since if anyone had a spade draw his equity might suck, but hey, gus is a gambler isn't he

Thanks :) The hand baffled me when i seen it..Maybe it was just the ballsy call on the flop that shocked me i.e. the amount he called for; but i guess its not as big when u take into account the players and the bet in relation to blinds/pot etc..

Sabo :club:

on the flop this is not all that bad... preflop is kinda weird, with one guy being allin already, doesn't look like a good call
