I don't have stats or reads on villain, and I don't think he has any on me either. Assuming we're unknowns to each other, how should he have played this hand?

I think he should have folded on flop to my raise... but which of these reasons explains why this should have been his move.. or am I completely on the wrong track here :P

A) Flop is very dry, so villain (me, in this case) is definitely not doing this with a draw
B) Don't have outs to call for 1 overcard
C) Villain is unknown, thus assumed to be reasonable until we get a read

Or is it all of the above?

I think a leak of mine may be how I react to opponents who raise me on very dry flops, and I have no hit and a weak overcard draw.

Hi!

From his point of the hand I would fold this on the flop vs unknown. To calldown such a hand it is quite expencive and you will not see a bluff often enough to make it profitable. If he knows that you are capable doing this with QJ,QT,JT
he can call flop and reevaluate on the turn.

You played it the standard way. However you can also go for c/c c/r here since you really dont need protection on this board. He will very often fire another one with his A high or lower pairs. Even if he checks the turn you have an easy value bet on the river when he will most certainly call with Ax/lower pairs.

Botth lines have it pros and cons and the choosing depends on the oponent.
