Hi,

I play cash games. Cutting along storey short i'v been break even over my last 8k/9k hands after a 13k upswing. What are your longest breakeven spells? Should i be concerned by 8k/9k? I'm pritty sure im plying good solid winning poker atm ?(

50k is deffo starting to be concerning :P ... up to 20k should be normal depending on a limit tho... deffo not on -200, where u can be crushing opposition easily

90k, due to a big downswing after which i switched down to a much lower limit, and 100k if you count plo :) a lot of players that make fairly good money from poker have much longer breakeven stretches though :)

Just over 50k for me too.

70K for me. FLSH

Insanity....

Well i'm playing NL25. As i've said my 13k upswing looks good, then after that its like a valley, down and up, down and up. I guess im going to have to go into lockdown mode then and play most the day on thursday. X(

I recently saw this graph of someone at NL5000 :)

Suffice to say that variance can be quite brutal _o:

:f_eek: 50+ BI under EV... that's crazy. Funny, cause he must actually be running really good since his EV is over 10bb/100 and I guess that's not sustainable in NL5k

Like 11k for me.

And that graph is really bad but a guy in the downswings forum posted a graph where he is like -100 BI under EV. I even think it was Kruppe but I might be wrong.
