Hero raises to $0.20, UTG2 folds, MP1 calls $0.20, 6 folds.

Flop: ($0.47) 7♠, 2♦, A♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.35, MP1 calls $0.35.

Turn: ($1.17) Q♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.40, MP1 calls $0.40.

River: ($1.97) J♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $1.60, MP1 folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $1.97

Was it correct to bet on river? Maybe checking to dodge flush was better?

maybe c/c turn or c/f turn even? it's hard to put villain on a hand at this point that we can beat...

Check fold turn. His range for calling your cbet on such a board is either Ax or xx :diamond:

Just check fold the turn and be done with it.

This, tho that player might peel with more hands than that like pocket pairs and 9x, still he probably won't call another bet on the turn with them when there is an A on board.

As for the river pot bet it's a bluff really, if you don't want to c/f it blockbet/fold like $0.5 or something that can actually get called by a bad player with anything other than a flush.
