I had noticed some differences between suggestions in these two. So does anyone know which one is higher ev?

Of course its ICM Trainer. The charts are just for beginning, when you really don't understand the game much. It's pretty much ABC without any risks. Also in articles its written that your goal is to overgrow the charts and learn to use your own ICM. 
ICM as it prices chips differently on the different stages of the game and teaches you WHY you are supposed to play that way.
ICM designates a different value for any given hand when you have different stacks and then tells you if the push is +EV or not.
All in all - charts can only show you profitable situations to put the money in while ICM tells you why they are profitable.

download icm trainer and learn
yeah start with the lite it gives you all the "general" situations and then the normal trainer gives you a ton of situations
