[Closed] Hand History

Did you set the space and time for the hand history to maximum? Else PP deletes old handhistories.

yup there both maximum...it imports full tilt hands fine, just not PP.

anymore help would be appreciated

Hmm its hard to analyse it without looking at it.

Are there files in "c:/program files/partygaming/partypoker/handhistory/your username?

Nup the only files in the partypoker file are Images, Languages and Temp.

No Hand History file.

Odd thought, but do you perhaps not have write permission for the directory? Try to create something in there yourself.

...and a silly one: you didn't disable hand logging altogether by accident when you were changing the limits, did you? There's a yes/no option at the top of the dialog.

That could be it.. because when i try to create a new folder it says you need permission to perform this operation..i can do it because i am the admin but do you think this would be the problem?

The Hand history configuration log on PP is set to Yes.

Really you want to give yourself access rather than partypoker, you'll want pokertracker to have access too. However I don't really know the NT security model well enough to even say if that's possible.

isn't it it simply like that:

- right-click on your partygaming folder
- select "settings"
- unmark attribute "read-only" or "write-protected" (no idea how its called in the english windows version)
- accept the settings and try it only real money hands get saved

EDIT: I've unchecked the read only box and clicked apply and ok, but when i click properties again it has automatically set it self back to read only.

maybe you have to do it as admin
If yuo already did so try to create a folder named HandHistory yourself and give it write rights:

C:\program files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\HandHistory <---- this one

Hmmm no Luck...created the HandHistory file but it still wont let me uncheck read only. I am admin and have access to all files but for some reason it wont let me change it.

Hmm I have no clue... maybe you can google a bit.

Yeh had a look on google before..but there wasnt much on it.

Mayber a last try... make screenshot about the folder and pp settings.

PP is finally Saving the hands into the PartyPoker file.. but having some problems with importing them..its saying

Import Finished - 23 file(s) read - 0 new hand(s) were imported.

But thats a different problem altogether so ill post that on the pokertracker forums.

Was a bit of a mission but its finally saving them now
