Has this hit pokerstrategy's revenue noticeably? I remember that there used to be advice on how to use the pokerstrategy offer if you already had an existing account, which might have been the case for some who now play high volumes / stakes.

No not really 
Mainly because of this:
Any player who creates an account on any of our brands starting 1st June 2007 and has had an account with us before will not be eligible as a Real Money Player

I didn't understand much of the situation. Is this supposed to affect the members of pokerstrategy ?
No not at all.
It is just that Party will make it more difficult for people who already had a Real Money account on party to make that one inactive and then to create another account with an affiliate bonus.
But especially since we will offer almost every other poker room in the future we don't care about that a lot.
