I've just qualified for the $300K Guaranteed tournament by means of a $3 rebuy. Is anyone able to confirm whether I 'have' to play in the tournament THIS Sunday or can I, by unregistering, delay my entry to a tournament in another week?

First of all: Congratulations for winning the qualifier tournament!
If I understood it correctly some weeks ago you have to write an email to the support of PartyPoker (support@partypoker.com) that you want to unregister for this tournament and play in a different $300k Guaranteed tournament.

I had qualified 2 weeks ago (via the SNG's), but couldn't play... if you unregister from the tournament, it just credits the freeroll to your account (so yes, you can register next week instead)
