this has happened no a couple times today. i get a popup saying i have to close all my tables because someone has the same userID/name.. what could this be?????? (i play at pacific poker) almost like someone is using my account at the same time.. SCARY.. ?(

and now my malwarebytes found 4 different "rootkit.agents". they where all found in my pokerfiles (pacific and pokertracker)

could someone with knowledge tell me whats going on? :(

if you have trojans on your computer I sugest to delete those programs with viruses and change password to poker acc, 'cause you never know what might hapen'. beter to be on the safe side.

yea dude with trojans hackers can do pretty much anything to you.

i saw a consumer program on danish tv yesterday where a it security expert showed just how easy it is to hack a computer and then get i.e. credit card information.
he rewrote the code a bit so antivirus wouldnt recognise the virus.
be careful what you download and allways keep a firewall running.
and stay clear of internet porn lol

this program really scared the hell out of me.

ok guys, thanx 4 making me even more paranoid :f_biggrin:

i was hoping for some more constructive feedback on what the problem might be.. why i have to close all my tables? could it be the rootkit.agent found in the pokerfiles on harddrive? how much does a player have to fear that someone hacks into their account? (i have ok ok security on my cpu. firewall, antivirus, antimalware, real time protection, regular updates and so on...)

"hide itself as system driver." could that be the reason why pacific poker thought that there 2 persons using same account so i had to close all tables?

what do you guys you for protection?

i use avg antivirus, and comodo internet security for firewall. should i take any other measures?
