considering MP2 is unknown i play this hand exactly the same as you.

if MP2 is lag i 3 bet preflop which will hopefully discourage the BB from entering the hand also. I would then donk bet if the flop hits my range within reason. in this case the flop is low and i cant represent anything so i check to him.

if MP2 is tag ill limp in from the SB and play as you did.

Against a complete unknown this is a bit tricky, cause some I know many regulars min-raise from any position with their tag ranges, so you can't really just treat them as 2 limpers on this limit. But I don't like calling an MP2 raise with KQo either. Playing passively OOP sucks a lot.

So I think you either fold or 3 bet, since then at least you have initiative and can take the pot with a cb. I prefer folding against a complete unknown on this spot.

Hey raun,

I would just muck KQ here against unknown for the following reasons:

- players use 2-3BB raises as their standard openraising range on those limits, so I wouldn't presume that's a weakness

- if you call preflop, you have high possibility of being squeezed by BB if he's really a LAG and if MP2 isn't too loose player you will be dominated by quite big part of his range and will dominate no hand

- also, if you call, you're OOP with marginal hand against preflop aggressor, so every half-decent player will outplay you postflop

- you could decide to reraise preflop, but I think doing so with KQ would be overplay against unknown

- and I hate unknown villains on NL200+

imo the fact that he is unknown makes it more likely that he is a bad player.
i know all the regs on nl400+ who play when i play

fold preflop. call OOP is bad, 3-bet is worst. This is not a good spot in NL400.

Against an unknown, play as straight as you can.

I found calling the worst move unless you 3bet relatively small.

So I think I would 3bet to $28-30 or fold pre. A shove is a consideration but is mostly overplaying your hand while adding nothing to the equation (leverage)
