yes it is, or at least should be form player to player, but not on Poekrstars or Fulltilt and other bigger sites where dataminig is forbiden cause PS.com can get sued

what do you mean data mining ?
If I play and use PT3 , is it called data mining ?
many use PT3 and Holdem Manager....

dataminig is getting Hand Histories while u arent playing , there are softwares for it or some platfrom will save HH even if u dont play or if u sit at the table
