Barrel the A on the River? He'll be calling aces and maybe Qs, but 88-JJ, FDs, 7s (if he called those on the flop) will be folding.

The problem is my stack is pot-size, and I'm not sure I can get him to fold often enough to go Ai here, but surely it should be enough to bet $12-$14, what do you think?

he has checked twice in position and is likely on a flush draw. he would bet the turn with a Q imho.
i would be afraid he has Ace of spades here and some middle spade and since flop middle pair also beats you I would not put anymore money in the pot.

Hi Daniel,

I just bet $10 flop due OOP issues and because now $8 seems like a 50% cBet which I dislike if I am OOP

As played I don't find A:h a good card to bluff on, especially not with a small bet. The only card one could be bluffing on is K:d K:c and K:h because NutFDs are in his range more than K:s x:s

I hope this helps,
Gerv

I'd prefer cbet 10$+shoving the turn than betting the river.
He'd probably call easier your river bluff or fold worst hands like FDs.

Seems like he's kinda passive, so probably doesn't play aggressively draws.
Also you can have a fold from better hands like A7,78,67,75, 88-99, since he's WTS is quite high (and protect/value vs FDs)

Better if you have some reads of weakness of course.
