Flop: (t12345) 3, 7, 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t12345) 8 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: t12345

There was a ton of dead money in the pot. Standard move would be raising for like 6x240, which is roughly 30-35% of my stack, and its very likely i have the best hand and i didnt want to get into tough spots post-flop, so i shipped it.

Problem is i dont see them calling a worse ace and in the best case im flipping. Im pretty sure attacking the dead money was the right play, the players all showed a lot of weakness, especially CO who i expected to raise any better hand (he seemed TAGish) the question is what's the best way.

imo raise is beter
u dont need to raise 6x i think 1600-1900 is ok (i'll personly raise it to 1740 is like a pot size raise) and than ship it on any flop if is it check to me

and if its not checked to you? Your entering a world of pain, as Walter Sobchack would say. Call, fold or push all in. I like as played.

hm boarderline....
a shove is not that bad in that spot here because :
if you raise like 1,4k and somebody calls the pot will be around 4k and you have less then that in your stack.
thats not a wonderfull szenario.
a shove looks a bit weak though, because a real monster would not shove.
so overall every possibility sucks
but i think i like raising more, because it has an exit strategy if it doesnt work.
so if you raise and the flop comes 237 and somebody bets / shoves you, you can fold.
if the caller checks, you shove.
i think thats slidly better then to shove in this spot, because there are no weaker hands calling.
ok some fishes might call with ATs or KQs but thats it.
