[Closed] Pot odds to percentage?

for me it woudl be enouygh to get soem math some equation ro smth
I did it this way
ex. 1:4 I make it times 20 which is 20:80 so 20 percent cause it equals 100 togeter .... is there some equation? this way I can get just rough percentage

Simplified to 100a/b ,easy to remember.

eg. what is the percentage of hitting if odds are 75:10 against

(100 x 10) / (75 + 10) => 1000/85 = 11.76%

eg. what is the percentage of hitting if odds are 1.24:1 against

(100 x 1) / (1 + 1.24) => 100/2.24 = 44.64%

Don't they teach that in elementary school?
