I think it is ok to push over UTG but I'm not sure about after the caller. I can't see many players calling 400 and then folding to a push so I'm expecting to be in a 3 way pot. Is 88 good enough here? I figured they were both short and I would still have a decent stack if I lost. Also, I really don't get players at this limit so I have NFI what MP1 is calling with ?( Any thoughts?

First reaction is that it looks good.

Second thoughts is that, as we have no FE against MP1, we'll have to pit our 88 against 2 'random' hands. We'll often have at least 3 overcards and in this situation we are no longer a favorite for the hand (our equity is less than 50%). If there are 4 overcards (e.g. villain 1 has QJ and villain 2 has AQ, say) we have only around 30% equity.

In fact, the hands are by no means 'random'. Even though MP1 is short, he still has >10bb stack and I don't think he committs himself - against another all in player - with that much we have beat. It's also possible that he only calls with a monster to draw more money into the pot.

Given that we cannot rule out a monster behind us either, I marginally prefer the fold.

88 is close to me (I still shove probably), I'm shoving 99 for sure. He could be calling with those stuff fishes love. Pocket pairs, Ax, facecards (preferably suited :P ).

If MP is reg I fold, if unknown I push.

For memory MP was a known fish.

I check the HHs of how they lost their stacks and then I decide. Easy push against fish.
