HUSNG top pair on flop- ace turn

Hey,

I think the flop is okay. Check/raise with top pair willing to get it in. But I really don't know what line to take on the turn. The hand before, villain 3bet me and donkbet AI with Ahigh. So he was capable of bluffing.

Button raises to t100, Hero calls t50.

Hero checks, Button bets t100, Hero raises to t250, Button calls t150.

Hero checks, Button bets t700 (All-In), Hero calls t700.

Hi all,

Check/call the flop without history is better IMO. The hands you're getting it in against on the flop is'nt really a range you crush however you can let him keep barreling with his air type hands. Against aggressive opponents I'd even suggest check/call then donking the turn as an alternative to check/raising here.

As played the turn looks good.

I don't like check/call here because of all the possible draws. I have seen opponents 3bet all-in (or even call an all-in) with just a gutshot. So I think I definitely have to raise here.

Btw, villain had AT (no flushdraw)... :f_confused:

Yeah for sure, if he's really aggressive/bad check/raising here is fine. But against a standard LAG or a TAG I would check/call the flop usually
