Is this ok knowing that we have heaps of FE against BTN as we have 2 short stacks and cover him in chips? I don't have the implied odds to call and I'm too deep to push. I think folding here is weak as well so I can't see any other option.

After he calls our resteal, I don't think I would cbet this board. I just don't want to give up 1/4 of my stack to find out whether this is a steal.

It's true that we don't have the implied odds to hit our set, but if this is a steal and not a value minR in the first place, calling and betting any flop has a more or less similar amount of FE and is a cheaper way of showing you won't let your blind be stolen cheaply.

I don't mind the resteal overall as we do have a ton of FE, but I think cbetting here is overplaying it a bit.

i tend to fold it preflop. looks kinda weak but you stack is very solid and some chips more or less won´t make much of a difference. no need to mess with another bigstack oop imo. i might be wrong here though

you have implied to call pre.

you have to call 150. 150x20 = 3k

you both have the standard call20 implied odds required to make this a profitable preflop call in the long run for set value.

a fold preflop is the only other option imo

the problem is that BB could shove quite some hands after a minraise and a coldcall

If the BB is a fish calling preflop looks best, if he's a bit better I fold. Raising looks good only if he's stealing a looot lately (and if he's also likely to fold and not shove A5o after you 3bet him )

I fold it preflop aswell, imo its fold > reraise > call.

As played the cbet looks fine.

I like it the way you played it, if BB shoves, we are committed and I think the BU will fold a lot either pre or to a Cbet.
