So many books to choose from…

I would like to ask the community's opinion about what books should be ok to begin with. I just started playing online poker (about 10k hands played SSS NL10 and 1$ SNGs). I am breaking even but it would be a good time to start actually studying.
The only tintsy problem is that where I live, there aren't many places to choose poker books from so I must find at least one here:

Thanks, I will consider getting this book. I saw some reviews and indeed many people recommend it.

I guess any of the Harringtons books (but start with the first of the series), Doyle Brunsons Supersystem if you're interested in other poker variants aswell, Sklansky's Theory of Poker .

Harrington on cash games imo.

The two best books by far imo are Theory of Poker by David Sklansky and Harrington on cashgames. Harrington on cashgames is more about specific strategies, while Theory of poker is more of a reference book. I would recommend getting the Theory of Poker first - it is a hard book to read from cover to cover but it gives an excellent overview of pretty much every concept you need to understand and you will find yourself going back to it time and again.

Great book. I still feel that some matters remain unresolved in this book but it definately helped me a lot.

PS. Nu stiu de ce naiba am scris in engleza. Succes! In cazul in care n-ai probleme "morale" sa le zic, poti sa furi cartea dupa net, o gasesti .pdf.
