I only called because I would play the hand OOP and I didn't think I could get him to put his chips in PF. As played is my line OK and what should be done differently?

fold the flop, you just have an open ender on a flush draw board and don't have position.

if you want to continue on this turn is better to bet out, check-raising doesn't have FE as the donkbet does and I doubt he often plays potbet/call with a hand that doesn't have you crushed
