This was the villain's first hand in this table and he posted the blind from UTG. I had no previous history with the player.

Hi,

More like a "whatever, he's an unknown and probably an idiot, who knows what he's shoving there i see people taking that line with weird draws all day long" call. Players that take those spewy lines on the first hand would usually just put all their chips in on the flop with some kind of combodraw and even with Kx, i don't hate the call at all. It's not a spot you should focus a lot on either tho, just follow your guts according to game flow and timing, sometimes you'll lose, sometimes you won't.
