Villain is fairly tight, running at 19/2/1.6. I believe his range here consists mainly of sets and the odd KQ though I doubt he would limp/call KQ. I don't think I beat a good amount of his range here since a FD would be unlikely to min 3bet here.

hmmm, only 33 and 55 beat you. I don't see myself folding that turn at NL2 ever with trips and top kicker.

Flop is ok, his play certainly looks strong, but you didn't have to pay a lot more to see the turn.

The turn gives you 7 outs to a higher full house even if you are behind, so I would call here and expect to win about 1/2 the time.

Still, what hands could he possibly have that would play like such? Would such a player limp/call KQ/KJ, then donk/min 3bet the flop? The turn K also means he'll very rarely have a K. So that means I have to hit either a K, A, 5 or 3 depending on which set he has so that's 7 outs to the nuts. But yeah, I had a lot of trouble laying this down and I'm not sure whether it was the right move.

no way i fold this, raise more on the flop ( standard is at least 3 times the amount), then shove it in on the turn.

I don't see how I can be ahead too often on the turn; this is a really dry board that is unlikely to have hit anything. Can you guys explain why this is a call since the turn is effectively a blank as I still beat and lose to the same hands as on the flop. If anything, it's even less likely he has a King now. Seeing as there are 6 combos of hands I lose to and 1 hand I beat, I don't see why I should call. Btw we 're 200 BBs deep if you didn't already notice.

I raised 2.5x on the flop since the flop is so dry.

Hi,

That's a 3bet pot, you are at the top of your range with Trips with top kicker, it's NL2 he can play exactly the same with a worser king. you have to go broke here.
