No, I think it's more Shameless self promotion, as the title says.
The "joke" (not a very good one) is that it is indeed my first royal flush.
I've been playing around with multimedia related stuff(mainly music) for quite a while now but nothing ever really left my PC. One person who got me into 3d always said "What's the use of making something if you don't ship it?".
The animation is the result of me wanting to make a pack of cards in 3d and I felt that it was good enough to show others(not just the very few who've seen and heard my stuff at my PC) and get some feedback before proceeding with the next step, which is an animation explaining the basic rules and hand ranking of Hold'em and rendering some desktop wallpapers.
