Pre-Flop: (60, 9 players) Hero is CO A♣ Q♠

Is it OK to just call here? With suited AQ I`m raising for sure.

i prefer raising here. making it 160 pre gives you 3 ways to win the pot.

a) you get pre flop FE and force the blinds out of the hand.
b) you often dominate a lot of their limp/calling range (KQ/QJ/Ax etc...)
c) you can win the pot with a cbet very often even when missing because you have the initiative pre flop.

if you feel uncomfortable playing post flop then limping and playing very passively is not a huge mistake at these blinds. but if you feel you know when to commit and when to get away from a hand then raising is +EV in my books :)

Hi all,

I make it 180-200 preflop but I don't mind the limp. Postflop is fine.

I think you are thinking about this wrong. With AQs we don't mind the multiway situation so it's OK to keep the pot smaller as we have position and we can more easily control the potsize then. So we should be limping more with AQs and raising more with AQo.
