$0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]CO(Hero)$53.60:///////;BU$35.55:///////;SB$68.10:///////;BB$35.50:///////;UTG1$91.65:///////;UTG2$50.20:///////;MP1$50.00:///////;MP2$49.30:///////;MP3$25.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is CO with K:c, K:h.
UTG1 calls $0.50, UTG2 calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, MP2 raises to $6.25, MP3 folds, Hero raises to $18.00, 6 folds, MP2 raises to $49.30, Hero calls $31.30.

Final Pot: $100.85.

Results follow:

Hero shows a pair of kings(K:c K:h).
MP2 shows a pair of aces(A:s A:h).

MP2 wins with a pair of aces(A:s A:h).

Isn't this hand obvious aces preflop? Can I fold?

Please explain why a call here is profitable in the long run.

MP2 was really agressive so it's hard to read his Aces. I sometimes fold KK preflop(about 5-10% of the time) if I see some really obvious plays for example.:Full Tilt Poker Game #17820046398: Table Mahogany - $0.10/$0.25 - No Limit Hold'em - 17:39:53 ET - 2010/01/22

From my experience i know that these small 4bets are usually AA or KK. since I'm behind the range {KK+} thus I fold. But you really consider with what that particular person could be raising such amount.

Hi,

some reads on villain would help a lot.

If he is a 10/6 nit, I'm folding after my cold-3-bet and his shove. Because i assume that he only shoves Aces.
If he is a LAG playing 27/24 with 12 3-bet i'm calling with a smile for 100 BB.
Because some people shove QQ and AK, maybe even JJ and AQ, too.

As played: He isoraises 3 people full ring very big which shows strength. You have to reraise, because KK is too strong to just call ip.
The problem is, that you turn your hand into a bluff if you raise/fold.

Let's see what the judges think.

Best regards,
Anin

I also tried to make hero folds with KK when I was playing nl 25 FR, but at the end you just loose money if player happens to have there QQ or AK, since nowadays even nits should get all-in with wider range, since they get 3-bet a lot with lags, so I think they are widen their getting all-in range pf.
This is very big raise pf and I think there is nothing wrong calling then playing postflop ip, but 3-bet and then calling shove is also fine. After you put in 36% of your stack you can´t fold KK pf.
