When I made it, it seemed like an obvious call because I've got so many chips and I'm just about getting the right odds to call. He's going all in utg but I imagine he would be doing that with quite an expanded range since he's about to hit the blinds with only 5 of them..
Regarding my image, I'm probably considered tight in terms of calling, as I mostly make the raises.. but sometimes call a normal raise in BB against average stacks.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 600/1200 Blinds 150 Ante (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP2 (t77933)
CO (t28483)

Hero's M: 19.59

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5, 4
UTG bets t6969 (All-In), 6 folds, Hero calls t5769
edit: hero is calling 5769 to win 9969

Flop: (t15738)

5, K, 5 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: (t15738) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: t15738

Results below:
Hero had 5, 4 (full house, fives over twos).
UTG had A, 8 (two pair, fives and twos).

well the villain complained big time when I called and won. But I really think it's much closer, especially if I want to take small chances to increase my chip stack with the right odds. I mean think about his position. He's about to go into the blinds with 5 and a half blinds left. He's pushing such a wide range that I'm almost getting the price to call any two.. Surely I'm justified with connected cards?

imo maybe ur pot odds are close to call but the thing is that when u call ur never a fav to win in showdown u go to get very lucky, u had do hit board and u hand got to hold up.
when u make that call u r ALWAYS behind and if u dont hit board u cant win, and when u hit just pair vilain can outdraw u to.
I dont think that vilain utg is pushing any 2 couse he surely have better spot to push in ex. -> m1 utg+2 couple of hands before this in better position, but lets say if he is pushing any 2 vs which hand r u a fav 23, 24, 34?? and in this situation i think 5,5 blinds lost is much more valuable for ur stack, than 5,5bb win

if i would be in his position i shove ATC
look at his M
he has 7k left and thew pot is already 3k
so his M is 2,5.
he SHOULD shove ATC here.
lets take a look
7k+3k and you have to call 5800 so its 10:6 lets say

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 38.436% 35.13% 03.31% 984650835 92729144.50 { 54o }
Hand 1: 61.564% 58.26% 03.31% 1632932524 92729144.50 { random }

so with this in mind and your big stack i think calling is fine.

if he is NOT a good player a fold is better because his range is much tighter.

common would u shove 72o,73o, 83o ,92o etc there UTG, u cant get any worse hand than that in BB, u dont really have some fold EQ when shoving imo and i think u can sometimes aford 1 more round waitnig couse if u pass this and fold ur blinds ull have like 5 k left in BB 600/1200 and if u push whene u have 4,5k and got caled and duble up ull have like 10k ant thats good stack size to steal blinds, i dont think that ICM concept works here?
ur shoving 90-93% of ur hands for sure, but not any 2, couse u had better spots to shove couple hans before this in better positions with any 2 cards so if he have an oprtunyty to shove couple a hands before (first in) and he dint use them i dont think that he is shoving any 2 in that spot and if u let him take this pot u can take this blinds 1-4 hands later from him when u'll be SB,BTN, CO or HJ and u'll open raise first in

yea you are right. im not shoving 72 or 23o
but even against 90% range you can call with those odds.
it is a marginal spot thats ture but due to the fact my stack is so big i still make the call to become an even bigger stack and use my powers of chips :)
