Yes... but i don't get it the bad players always beats me ^^

i think it just feels that way, u allways seem to remember the beats more than the wins.
sometimes i feel like this, specially just after its happened,
but im sure if u jotted notes of all your hands ull probably see that ull come out of this the best most of the time.

Actually you only "notice" the bad players that are beatin you.....

And the example that you posted is not getting beat by a bad player. It is the play you want that player to make which ended in them catching a good card. Beating you would have been if the BB or button just called, then you bet into him, he came over the top all in and you called. That would be getting beat, since you put your money in with the worst of it. While your example you got your money in with the best and it did not stick...

If you are worried about hands like this, you really need to re-evaluate your ideals in poker. Since these types of hands are the entire reason you "want" to be playing poker.

Frustration in is an evil in poker that is required but only to help fuel improvment, not to fuel anger.

yah i had a guy call my AA with 73s and hit his flush on the flop.. :(, then he called my kk's with a j,5 and hit the j and the 5 20 min later. I got to watch him bust out and lose all my money lol.

also next time buyin for full imo

why do good players get lucky?

same here. reraised all in with KK to a J,10o. I got the set on the river that made a str8 for the opponent. Stopped getting upset about those kind of beats a long time ago. Got bounced out of the SnG and went to the next one. That's how I get around those types of beats, I just tell myself "there's always another game"

i forgot to add...

they get lucky so they can feel good about their bad plays and do them over and over and we can win their money. The system works... ♠_biggrin:

If bad players didn't win occasionally they'd stop play bad and u wouldn't win as much in the long term.

It does get annoying when u get a few suck out in a session but if u play the strategies correctly over time you will see the results.

I play SNG and MTT, so my theory might not apply to you. When you have some reads on the players and you see that some of them are playing very loose ( and winning ), you might want to adjust the game theory. KK all-in is ok on the stats in long term, but any other pair in a player's hand had about the same chances on hitting the flop, as the above mentioned hand clearly states.

I usually limp in with good cards in the hand, and adjust my play based on the action on the table. If I hit ok, if not I just check raise or check fold, depending on the draws on the table.

Keep in mind that UTG is a very bad position.

You'll probably agree with me next time you go all in with AA and somebody hits the flop with 22's or some J8o.

Talking about bad beats:

Got 2 :club:2 in MP3, min raise

UTG+1 calls, flop brings 8 2 8

Pot is ~1100, I raise 3000, UTG+1 calls

Turn is K

I go all in, UTG+1 calls

River is K

I show full house 2s full of Kings UTG shows full house, Kings full of 8s.

The odds of that happening?

Edit: just corrected. 2s full of kings, not 2s full of 8s
