Harrington on cash will give you a more than solid understanding, its two books though so some decent amount of reading to be done.
But NLH is a complicated game so you have to put the work in.

All the poker strategy articles will on this site will give you all the knowledge you need to beat the micros... and they are better expalined and easier to take in than some of the books... so just read the articles here and save some $$$ :f_biggrin:

First of all small stakes starts at NL100.

Second, there are no books out there with effective strategies for micro stakes. Your best bet is the articles here.

I agree, although Harrington on cash and Harrington on Hold 'em are very good books with great amounts on knowledge in them. If you do buy any books buy these.

there are a lot better books than the harrington on cash game books that are better for online for example Easy Game 1 & 2 von Balugawhale

Bobbos Bible
The Poker Blueprint
Small Stakes No limit hold em ( Ed Miller,Sunny)
How to beat No limit hold em 6 max Cash Games (Bill Vosti)
Ryan Fee's 6 Max NL Strategy Guide
David Sklansky Theory of Poker
Professional No Limit hold em (Ed miller..)
