Blinds: 10/20

Pre-Flop: (30, 2 players) Hero is SB 8♣ Q♠ 10:club: 10:spade:
Hero raises to 60, BB raises to 180, Hero raises to 540, BB calls 360

Flop: 9♣ 3♣ J♦ (1,080, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets 1,080, BB goes all-in 3,060, Hero goes all-in 780

Same villain, super aggressive & 3betting a ton

Is it ok to 4bet with hands like this against players who are 3betting alot? What's the lowest hand you will 4bet with against players who are always 3betting?

Flop is standardo ofc

I don't think this hand is good to 4-bet because it has a damn middle pair in it. What would you have done if he 5-betted you?

Lowest hand to 4-bet - hand with no pair in it ^^

If it was 89TQds or 8TJQds - easy 4-bet. Now I would just call and play the maniac in position without building the pot too much because this hand is not THAT great.

But ofc if you feel like 4-betting - use this hand to do it instead of AA** vs maniac. This way you win with c-bet on A high flop OR you flop set/flushdraws/straightdraws/two pairs and he ships on you with a pair because he puts you on aces ^^

too loose with the 2 gaps and the pair, when you are 4 betting it's always for value so you need hands that dominate his calling range and/or flop a ton of equity. make that T♣ a J♣ and you have a possible 4bet.

Versus a super aggro villain with the money deepish then you can even consider open-limping hands that aren't good for 4-betting. You don't always have to raise and keeping the pots small PF is often a good way to go versus aggro-donks since they are likely to make huge mistakes post-flop.
