Hi, I am playing WSOP 2010 Qualifiers at PartyPoker and after hours I have been eliminated with an immense disappointment especially for the way I have played the full tourney. _cry:
Unfortunately, it is not a good moment for me (as I have explained in my thead of disappointment HERE)
anyway I have finished 38 on a field of 3500 players and this is my last hand

http://www.pelopoker.com/flashs/pelopoker_replayer_ptad.swf?id=1378720464&hostid=1000

my question is, in this situation was right to shove my pair of J or was better stay still and wait because I was only 13 players away from win the tournament? And, was it right the call with A5 suited? ?( (1-25 entry for the WSOP Special)
Thank you

in my opionion this was a really poor shove. utg approaching the money (or qualification). healthy stack. no reason to shove jj. either limp or i prefer a 3xbb raise (note cant see the size of blind here so assuming at least 20 BB deep). when the ace hits, fold to any action.

the call with a5o is nothing short of criminally stupid

I thought straight way I shouldn't shove in that spot. It's happening often that I am losing lucidity after many hours on the some table. I feel so down for that especially after so many hours and so close to the prize.
Anyway, I didn't have 20BB, the blinds were 10000/20000 and my stake was 173,000; because it was very slowing to reach ITM I thought that with an hand like JJ was a good idea to try to steal the blinds and making me in a more comfortable position. Unfortunately, the champion decide to call me with A5 suited and the "sorte" decide that was time for me to go to sleep. Thanks for your contribute.

P.S. I don't understand why the video doesn't showing the blinds, for better view try this link. Ty _cool:

Ah ok. blinds are 20k so you only have 8.5 BB and you are BB next. so a 3xbb is not a good idea. So I agree its a shove.

thebuzz - do you agree its nota shove if we have more than 20BB? utg at a full table approaching the bubble of a satelight with JJ?
