Limit Holdem Ring game

Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is BB with J♣ A♠
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, 4 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: J♥ Q♣ 3♠ (4.5SB, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: 9♣ (4.25BB, 2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls.

River: T♦ (6.25BB, 2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 folds.
Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to Hero.

Results:
Final pot: 6.25BB

UTG+1 raises, but since we have only 7 players it's in fact MP1. So his range might be a little wider than UTG. Would TT+, ATs+, AJo+, KQo+ be reasonable?

I hit middle pair.

Looking at the range above, I am
ahead of TT, behind to JJ+
ahead of AT, AK (3+4 outs), behind to AQ
behind to KQ

so if I look at it now I might better play call flop fold turn ui.

The riverbet with the straight draw for the K doesnt feel so comfortable ...

Comments most welcome.

as in the other hand: it´s hard to put a guy on a hand without a read
but maybe it´s helpfull to have a look at the orc to see which hands "we" (ps.de tags) would raise first in from mp1. then you can adjust his range according to your reads/impressions

so "our" range would be:
77+, AT+, KQ+, A)s+, KJs+, QJs+

i would play this hand wa/wb. the only overcard which you don´t want to see is a K because a Q is already there und you have an A yourself. so i would just call all the way and bet the river if he checks the turn.

imho ;)

If he really has the MP1 range from our orc chart we have:

Spieler 1: 55,015% 51,516% 6,998% 41,485% AsJc
Spieler 2: 44,985% 41,485% 6,998% 51,516% 77+,A9s+,KJs+,QJs+,ATo+,KQo

on the flop.

Our quity will drop below 50% at the turn and even below 25% at the river.

We don't need to protect from 77+, AT/AJ.

The only hand we need to protect from is AK with 7 outs against us.

Because of that I tend to play the same way as frzl mentioned except the river donk because our equity is really low here. :)

is it still considered as a "donk" when he has already checked the turn ? it´s not important of course; just asking

you are right btw... i missed the 4 cards to a straight on the board. i think i should have a closer look on the hands before i answer. i´m messing it up too often in the last view days ^^

Donk, bet... whatever. *g*
